I found an interesting thread on the SL forums of people discussing how their avatars have changed over the years. It was really kind of interesting to see some people's, especially from people that have been around from back in like 2006.. 2007... Yes, I only got here in 2009, but I thought I'd do one anyway!

Fall Mesh

I've been pretty skeptical about mesh lately... with all the dresses and pants looking essentially the same cuz they all came from the same damn mesh template maker... until I found this dress! It's from Tram, and has a demo for you to try on, of course. I just had to have it.

In fact, I had to have it so bad, that I showed up at the Destiny club in it and during my 4 hours there, I had several people offer me screenshots of how I "look" and how .. get this.. I need to fix myself. Christ on a stick, guys... You'll all get the latest apps for your iPhones and iPads, but you can't bring yourself to UPGRADE YOUR DAMN VIEWERS? Really, guys? REALLY?

Inventory Cleaning

The horrors of my "Unused Hair" folder. I finally decided to go through it. Most of the ETD hair got saved... I'm just too nostalgic for my own good. But some of the older stuff did get cut. Also... I still had hair that was made entirely out of spheres and ovals? What the hell was I thinking, even if it was free at the time...

The scary part? Some women will still look at this and go, "Well what's wrong with this hair?" In the age of Elikatira and LeLutka and Truth, why on earth would you even wear a hair like this?

I'm just sayin'...

Sweetest Goodbye

Popped into Sweetest Goodbye yesterday to check out what they might have for new Fall stuff... and was heartbroken to find that they won't be making any more new stuff... :( So I grabbed this skirt (and a few other things I've been meaning to get) and went on my way...

Dorkness Rising

Everyone already has their Halloween outfits out... And it's Batmans and Supermans and all sorts of other -mans. But there are other kind of geeks out there than Marvel geeks...

And that's STAR WARS geeks! Like me! Yaaay! And then there's the Harry Potter fanatics! Also like me! So as usual, I have combined my crazy love of both of those things into this year's Halloween outfits (cuz I never did them last year...).

This also seems to mean that my store is one year old! Oh my! I wonder how I will celebrate? If at all? Hmm...

Tiger

I love autumn! Finally get to wear warmer clothes and not look like a freak for doing it. Got this very cute tiger sweater from Dressing Room Blue... and then saw a girl wearing the exact same one at the Jewelry Fair. Boo. It's amazing how small SL feels sometimes.

Well... no fancy outfits for you this week as I've been working non-stop on the new Zooby's Mesh Avatar cats. Here is my attempt at a machinima, starring the three cats currently available: White, Ginger, Black.

Toki Doki

It's like... Madonna hair straight out of Lucky Star. Just... much neater. The only issue I'm finding with these new LeLutka hairs is that she hasn't really said which hair base we should be using for the "roots" versions. Swedish roots definitely don't work with this Swedish "Bonjour" hair... Other than that, keep 'em coming! Would be nice if she release some more clothes too, though...

First Autumn Outfit!

I think it's safe to say that autumn is finally here. Erin and I have taken some time to change out the Sweet Penelope decor to add in some fall colours... and I'm starting to dig in my inventory for all those cute autumn clothes I had last year.

Monkey Business

Taking little Adrian out for a walk cuz I'm sick of him taking up prims on my parcel and not even doing anything. Doesn't he know I have two kids?!

Anyway, another visit to Honey Kitty for some pretty backdrops for the photos! I wish they let you rez. This place beats the hell out of Alirium Gardens on the cuteness factor, and would be some awesome for a whole variety of cute pictures!

Honey Kitty

I was at Collabor88 (new collection out today, go check it!) and saw a cute Japanese girl wearing a nice cardigan I liked. So of course I had to right-click it and Object Profile that shit! TP'd to the store and I have to say, my jaw dropped.

I have to say, I have never seen so much pink and so much cuteness all in one place in SL before. This store friggin' ROCKS, if I do say so myself. Japanese creator, cheap prices, and every shade of pastel that you could possibly want. The stuff is just downright adorable!

Highly recommend if you are into the cute candy styles.

Mesh Jumper

Finally, some mesh clothes that don't all look the templates from the one guy that makes them on Marketplace! This awesome jumper/tracksuit thing is from Hucci and available in The Dressing Room's current collection. Cheap and awesome, go check it out!

Only problem I had was that out of all the sizes included, none of them really fit MY butt size. But I picked the one that fit my boobs the best and just went with it. The difference is really not that big. The good part is that it also comes with a size for the REALLY curvy girls with the corn-fed booties. So if that's you, this mesh is for you!

I think I made the new Knotty Sweater outfits for Sweet Penelope exactly with this Atomic top in mind. I think it's so adorable when mommies and daughters have matching outfits. The skirt is from Grixdale's collection at Collabor88. You get this skirt and a few other articles of clothing from Grixdale, all at a really cheap price! Definitely check it out.

MY KIDS! Still feels weird saying it in plural: "kids." But here they are! And yes, I trust my 1.5-year-old to hold the newborn. She's like her mom and doesn't let go once she's got a hold... or.. something.

Gawk Polkadots

New things! Gawk released some really adorable shirts yesterday. Prim strings and shoulder ruffle things! And of course ample cleavage (or there wouldn't be anything to Gawk at, now would there?).

And for the 50L Friday today Miel had a very cute watch in two different colour schemes. And it scripted to tell what time it is where you are! Now I can look at my watch and see what time it is in London! ...not that I couldn't just look at the bottom of my screen and see it. But that's besides the point. COOL WATCH, Y'ALL!

Back To School

Today was the "Back To School" event at Destiny, so I got all dressed up! I love this outfit, wish I had more places to wear it. Though I did have to make an alpha layer myself to hide my boobs... 

And I saw these awesome scratched knees tattoos on the Juicybomb blog. What a great find!
